Post-treatment skincare is the key to experiencing great results.

We have discussed what to do before treatment and what to expect from a treatment. But what happens after the treatment? Post-treatment skincare plays crucial role in recovery, improvement and beneficial change.

Rule № 1 for good post-treatment skincare

No matter what kind of treatment you have done – laser hair removal, facials, peels, dermatologic procedure – the absolute №1 recommendation is to limit your exposure to sun. Of course not forever. Just for the time of recovery.

Sun is vital. It boosts our serotonin levels and it helps us produce vitamin D3. Without sun we would be miserable. On the other hand, after a skincare treatment you skin is much more sensitive to outer stimuli. Meaning that is more prone to burning and damaging. And we don’t want that for you.

This is why for at least 2-3 weeks please limit your sun exposure to a few minutes a day and apply high quality sunscreen. In order for your skin to recover, heal and blossom, stay away from strong shine of Dubai’s burning sun.

Rule № 2 for good post-treatment skincare

Use high quality skincare products which are suitable for your skin. Usually when you do a rejuvenating skincare treatment your experienced aesthetician will recommend you the best products for your skin. This is not a way to close the business chain. It is a way to boost your results.

For example when you do Cosmelan or Dermamelan, after the treatment it is absolutely necessary to continue the therapy at home. Special Cosmelan and Dermamelan products are prescribed in order for you to achieve the results want.

This is a general rule for before, after and during any treatment – follow a healthy diet and lifestyle. We know that some of you are taking extra care for your body, skin and mind. And that is wonderful. Please, keep in mind that balance is also needed. Don’t be slave to fanaticism. Be good and kind to yourself. Your body needs both – a little bit of junk, a little bit of health, a little bit of joy, a little bit of stress, a little bit of love, a little bit of challenge.
