Men and women experience different reasons for hair loss. No matter the reason, there are ways to slow down the balding process and prolong the time of having healthy, strong, and vibrant hair – it’s all about attentive care and prevention. When you see the first signs of balding, it’s crucial to consult with a specialist who can navigate you to effective ways to stimulate hair to grow.
In 7 Derma, we have several premium therapies that help men and women get their hopes back about hair growth. No matter the reason for hair loss, some protocols influence cell rejuvenation, blood flow to the scalp, hair follicle nourishment, and in a matter of sessions, you see the first results:
- PRP (Platelet-rich-plasma);
- DR CYJ Hair fillers;
- Mesotherapy for hair loss;
- Hair Growth Factor and EGF;
- Fusion IV Immune system boost – complimentary to Hair loss treatments.
The best results we observe are when we combine a few treatments in one therapy. The combination depends on your condition, needs, and desires.
But what happens after that? This is the big question!
What do we do when the sessions are over? What happens if something unexpected (like a COVID-19 quarantine) occurs, and how do we deal with home care? The answer is simple: Lifestyle changes and home care products or homemade remedies. Let’s see together what adjustments you can make!
#1 Use Hair Growth Boost Products and Homemade remedies at Home
We usually recommend unique products for hair loss: shampoo, conditioners, masks. Now we’d like to share our favorite hair growth mask at home.
It’s a blend of vitamins and stimulates the cells to revitalize. You can use it once a week. The mask is suitable for men and women of all ages. It enables the growth of new healthy and strong hair (tried and proven!).
Watch the video below for full details:
- A Vitamin oil – 1 tablespoon;
- D3 Vitamin oil – 1 tablespoon;
- E Vitamin oil – 1 tablespoon;
- Castor oil – 1 tablespoon;
- One egg yolk;
- Organic vinegar – 1 tablespoon;
- Strong alcohol (vodka, tequila, whiskey, or else) – optional – 1 tablespoon;
- Organic honey – 1 tablespoon.
- Mix the ingredients all together.
- Apply on the hair roots (whatever is left, apply on the ends).
- Put a foil over your hair (or a plastic bag).
- Put a warming hat over the foil.
- Stay with the mask for 2 to 4 hours.
- Wash your hair as usual.
Use this mask once a week for optimal results. The first results are seen even after the second application.
Bottom line: Take care of your hair and scalp at-home with professional products or with homemade remedies. This will complement your results!
#2 Quit smoking
Death from smoking is wildly overestimated and for a long time – not much concerning. But how about you find out that as a smoker, you speed up hair loss processes? Smoking damages the DNA which makes the immune system overreact and further damage cells. This impairs the ability of the body to thrive.
The National Center of Biotechnology Information (USA) concludes:
In view of the psychological impact of androgenetic alopecia on affected men and women, increasing public awareness of the association between smoking and hair loss offers an opportunity for health education against smoking, since treatment options for androgenetic alopecia are limited.
Bottom line: If you smoke, take steps to quit. It’s hard, but it’s worth it!
#3 Do regular follow-ups
Follow-ups are done by a recommendation of your hair loss specialist. Depending on your therapy schedule, they will assign you follow-ups to check how hair growth is going and how you can maintain your results. This will keep your results for longer and will upgrade them.
Bottom line: Never miss your follow-up – they will help you keep the results longer!
#4 Cleanse, detox, and nourish the body regularly
Detox is a highly misunderstood word. Cleansing your liver and your internal organs are crucial for the normal functioning of your body. The liver processes and excretes toxins from the body. Nowadays, it’s easy to overwork: junk food, soda drinks, alcohol, medications, stress, chemicals from fruits and veggies, polluted air and water…
This is why it needs extra care. The liver influences your hormonal balance. Any imbalance can cause the body to produce less or more of certain hormones. This can also reflect on hair growth hormones.
Here are some ways for daily care:
- Drink more water to flush toxins easily – at least 2L;
- Drink your first 0.5L right after you wake up – 30 mins with moderate sips;
- Add lemon to your water;
- Eat more raw fruits and veggies with antioxidants;
- Add natural supplements to your daily life for liver cleanse.
Detox Programs at Home:
- Water Fasting – it’s extreme, so don’t do it alone. Always have supervision;
- Fruit Juice Fasting – 3 to 5 days every year so your liver takes rest from daily toxins.
Bottom line: Take care of your liver every day and pay special attention to it every ear with an excellent detox.
#5 Have at least 80% healthy diet
It’s sad we no longer have access to high-quality, unprocessed food. We understand how difficult it is to have the mind power to avoid tasty sweets, beverages, fried and processed dishes. But there is always a way never to deprive yourself of “treats” and at the same time have a friendly diet.
Diet affects everything in our bodies – energy levels, hormonal balance, moods, acidity, and more. The link between food and hair loss is not direct. But studies show that food choices and lifestyle can trigger specific genes to kick in, including the hair loss gene.
Bottom line: Eat healthy for the sake of your overall being.
#6 Take time to relieve stress
Stress can also change your microbiome. When it comes to male pattern baldness, many cases develop after a very stressful event or a period. These stressful times might not even be connected to emotions. They can also be combined with diet changes, physical activity, traveling, and more.
Stress is the combination of aggressive changes that occur in one’s life. Sometimes we can’t even realize that we are under stress – this looks like the only life we know. So please take a look at your lifestyle and identify the areas which bring stress to your life. Reaching out to a specialist for stress management is also a great way to deal with and move forward.
Bottom line: Stress shows us where we should work on and apply changes. Never underestimate your body’s signals. It knows very well what you need.
We hope this article helps you manage the way you take care of your hair growth transformation. The only correct answer is to look at it holistically. Hair loss is a condition that combines many factors. Take small but consistent steps to apply changes. These changes will help not only your hair loss journey but for your overall well-being.
